Special Friend Award

As I was trying to catch up on email today (it seems like I'm always behind) I discovered this award that my Mom passed on to me. Here is the description of the award:

These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbon's of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these kind writers. My Mom passed this award on to me a while ago, and I finally got around to posting it!

I am going to pass it to my sister, Grace, who takes amazing pictures, and my wonderful friend, Sarah, who sparked my interest in Civil War history, and makes gorgeous period clothing.
